Roller coaster design at the tech museum

We had a relaxed morning today, we had a plan to go to the pool, but decided on going to the tech museum first.
We met an old friend at the tech museum, Ria ! I'll put pictures at the end.

What did we do in the tech museum:

1.  We bought a chemistry book, that I am still reading
2. We did make airplanes and blasted them.
3. We had fun near the space area with a microscope and a telescope which we brought ourselves
4.  We danced on the circles
5. We designed a roller coaster on the computer and then got a ride on our design ! did someone else's designs too

We got back home, relaxed , Boogie fell asleep as always , but no peepee accident :).

We had a small piece of cake at the cake shop and then were at lakebird with Mama

Our relatives meeting day and a big war show

We had  a number of people visiting us this weekend...

You know we have Dadiji here, but a Dadaji also came from Minnesota, the state of ten thousand lakes !

After JJ joined us in the evening, we had a show where the king of lakenbird is fighting with a soldier of his own.

We had a lot of people who watched the show: Mama, Papa, Nanaji, Naniji, Dadaji from Minnesota, Dadiji, JJ's Mom and Dad, Mudit, Meghana and Advay. You know something: Advay is 1 month old nephew of mine, while I am just 6 year old !!!

Packed day : Maritime museum, San Francisco, Mama's new house ......

Today was a really busy day. We thought it would rain on Sunday, but morning was clear. We decided to leave early so we could get into the ships before rain; were at the maritime ships by 11:15 a.m. Spent two hours in the three ships: The balaclutha, the tugboat and the ferry. 

We were quite hungry afterwards, so sat down to eat pasta at the closest restaurant, which looked italian. We also did another hour at the visitor center that has a nice museum with lot of ship items. However, Boogie started giving trouble, lying down on floor :(. We went to car holding the umbrella together. We both fell asleep afterwards.

Woke up near Ashish Mama’s new apartment, we spent a lot of time in evening jumping around in the apartment. I even did 17th floor -> 26th floor with Papa. But got locked in on 26th floor, had to call Ashish Mama to get us out !

A lot happened today !

• Morning office work : ???
• We played outside with nozzle to make a waterfall; I helped Dad clean car mats
• Boogie did a big shave .....
• We had a buyer for Santa Fe, the red car ! Mom and Dad did sell it, woohoo :)
• We had forgotten our clothes and swim goggles :( , so we picked them up at YMCA early evening
• We went to Sufee’s birthday party, at the kids art place. Everyone got a canvas to draw using acrylic paint. I made a painting of titanic crash, and also drew my family who were in heaven because we expired in the crash. :(
• We watched nutcracker animation on TV, now I know the nutcracker story
• We did earthquakes and volcanoes study office test today, I did quite well !!

Friday, my swimming day !

How was today ?

• Morning there wasn’t a lit club… too bad because I had prepared on ships and sirens and brought the ‘kingdom of fantasy’ to talk about ships and blackbeard and sirens.
• Made a new game
• Went to swimming class where Ms. Dasiy was making me ready for green band test. We ran out of time today but she promised that we would go to big pool next time.
• Then we went to the Hindu Mandir where we saw the idols of Sri Rama, Sri Krishna and Hanuman. We also had a bit of rice, Papa and Dadiji ate lot of Pongal (I didn’t even look at it :( ).
• At night Papa shared my progress report from helios with me, I feel good about the report :)

Bubble Run in San Jose

All of our family went for the bubble run ! Shreyan was upset for white t-shirt for some time, but had lot of fun in the end going through color bubbles dance :).

Rishab stayed with Papa and had to be carried on shoulders half of the way, and Papa had to take so many short cuts to do this in good time :).

As a bonus, we also saw the motorcycle show, though Shreyan had to close his ears at times.

Sarika Auntie, Aarin, Aarin's Naani Ma, Ishaan, and Rachna Auntie also joined, though they left before us .

We had a big lunch after the bubble party, and then rest at home :).

Monterey bay aquarium trip

Shroo and Boo had a blast in Monterey today...

Things didn't start on the best note when Shroo felt feverish in the morning; and Boogie said 'mein to ghar mein rahega'.

Shroo felt a bit better by 8:30 a.m. so Papa got both in the minivan and out by 8:55 a.m. :).

Picked up Ria and her Dad on the way, and then the kids did 'a wa wa wa...' all the way to Monterey.

Nice pizza and bread on the oceanside restaurant.

We had more than 12000 visitors at the aquarium, but the kids didn't feel lost ! Boogie liked jelly fish a lot , Shreyan and Ria liked most of the them !
