Bubble Run in San Jose

All of our family went for the bubble run ! Shreyan was upset for white t-shirt for some time, but had lot of fun in the end going through color bubbles dance :).

Rishab stayed with Papa and had to be carried on shoulders half of the way, and Papa had to take so many short cuts to do this in good time :).

As a bonus, we also saw the motorcycle show, though Shreyan had to close his ears at times.

Sarika Auntie, Aarin, Aarin's Naani Ma, Ishaan, and Rachna Auntie also joined, though they left before us .

We had a big lunch after the bubble party, and then rest at home :).

Monterey bay aquarium trip

Shroo and Boo had a blast in Monterey today...

Things didn't start on the best note when Shroo felt feverish in the morning; and Boogie said 'mein to ghar mein rahega'.

Shroo felt a bit better by 8:30 a.m. so Papa got both in the minivan and out by 8:55 a.m. :).

Picked up Ria and her Dad on the way, and then the kids did 'a wa wa wa...' all the way to Monterey.

Nice pizza and bread on the oceanside restaurant.

We had more than 12000 visitors at the aquarium, but the kids didn't feel lost ! Boogie liked jelly fish a lot , Shreyan and Ria liked most of the them !

Shreyan and Sufee at sweet tomato having ice cream

This was a play date evening: Boogie and Shroo met Sufee and Sanaa ; Sufee's Mama brought them to the restaurant.

They had a lot of pasta, pizza and some some soup. At the end, they had vanilla, chocolate ice-creams with brownie, yummy yummy :).

We will put a picture of Shroo and Sufee eating ice cream .

At the end, we all went to Sufee's house but didn't stay there long :(

Book sale at library !

Shreyan finally recovered from fever today, what a relief after 4 sick days ! The max temperature went all the way to 103 degrees, and Mama lost part of ear drum from thermometer :(.

Morning visit sunnyvale library with Papa; got great books on solar system. Missed Ilan's birthday party at SF, however there was a talking encyclopedia for fun at home :)

Slept very late, almost 11:00 p.m. :(

Chabot day

Wake up after Aarin sleepover late in the morning !

Rest of day at Chabot, got a new solar system book, and Boogie got shining planets :)

Home depot and tech museum fun; sleepover with Aarin !

San Francisco zoo and pacific beach day !

A bright sunny day after Saturday rain... we went out to watch chinese new year celebration and the animals, all in San Francisco zoo !

All 6 of us went in the minivan, we saw fun acrobatics from a chinese guy, and dance festivale with a number of young kids performing.

On our return, Shreyan noticed the beautiful beach; went down in the wet sand and drew a '53'.

What is 53 about, guess....we'll give you the answer tomorrow

Morning 11:00 - 1:00 : Ananya's birthday at pump it up Milpitas... fun with all the school friends; Had a fun Mandir visit, and more food :)

Got to play with Aarin in washington park with Mama, Sarika Auntie, Payal Mami and Boogie; good fun !

Evening went to costco and valley fair mall: none of them happened for Shroo as he dozed off.

Museum and ice hockey checkout day

A lot of fun activities before Dad goes to Dallas :

It was a rainy day: Mom had both kids out to enjoy rainwater with ponchos.

Afternoon we had bright sunny day: first visit to NASA. Did see a presentation on sun...and the moon apollo mission.

Off to computer history museum afterwords, quick walk through large supercomputers !

Dad came back home with kids by 4 p.m.; and ready to leave for the airport.

Shreyan and Rishab got ready for ice hockey match ... No they are not playing it yet, but Mom's colleague is :).

Workshop and weekend fun

Had a volunteer event at Jain Mandir, Rishab and Shroo had fun as usual; ended up buying two guitars: monster guitar and ocean guitar at Walmart; both very happy :).

Home play with underwear wearing Boogie

A big day for boogie: no diapers practice day ! Boogie did two pee pees in the baby toilet :), However, a big poo poo accident did manage to spoil the fun at night ....no worries, Boogie didn't even raise an eye-brow when it happened. His Mama discovered the Poop by accident  in the hallway :(.

Otherwise for Shroo this was a new game day. In the morning, Dad and Shroo played online scrabble: after couple of games we got serious and beat the computer 266 - 244 !

Later in the day we opened kanoodle: a funny placement game. Didn't try 3-d pieces yet, will try in during the week.

Dinner was fun too with a new set of cookies baked by Mama. No outdoor activity today, but lot of fun indoors and the backyard.

Scooter ride to Deer Hollow Farm

Shreyan and Rishab spent 2 hours riding their scooters to the farm. Warm, sunny and busy day at Rancho San Antonio... Shreyan, Rishab and Papa managed to get to the animals on two razor scooters (Think how they managed that :) )

Boogie got to touch cows and goats, Shreyan was coy near the animals. 

Shreyan fell a few times from scooter on rough road coming back, maybe it is time to move him to bigger tires for more stability .... 

Boogie took is nap in the car on way back: totally expected on this sunny day !

Little Chef ensures no eggs in veggie strata

Shreyan had a

fun cooking event at little chefs for Rohan (classmate) 5th birthday He was quiet most of the presentation, but ensured his questions were heard:

 1. I want no egg in my preparation !

 2. If I take this home, I need to know that there are no nuts in this... my little brother is allergic to nuts :( .

We cut a lot of veggies, shredded cheese and mixed up everything together. However, just before the grand preparation was ready, they opened up delicious buffet table with great rice, salse, beans and tortilla from chipotle.

With liberal dose of rice, beans and 2 helpings of his favorite cake, Shreyan forgot all about strata till it was time to go back home !
